Skincare at Neroli

How do I get skin that I want rather than skin that I want to cover up

It may just be the Elemis line at Neroli
(I am going to give it a try and track progress)

What I do know is that the Elemis Facial Peel at Neroli is a great way to kick start the process of reviving the skin

SPCA Dogs

I fell in love with a dog today....she needs a home

 

She looks SO much better in Kenny Ball Antiques than she does behind bars at the SPCA
She is a hound dog... she is LOVELY...

Sometimes when you go to the SPCA you see so many hound dogs that you kind of forget to look at them as individuals.
Over the weekend, KBA had the Dog Days of Summer and brought in some of the local SPCA dogs available for adoption.

This one caught my eye....
Go visit her at the SPCA--she is worth the trip.

Riding Lessons in Charlottesville

A week of SCOUTing ideas on and off the Downtown Mall

1.  Jean Theory:  I bought 2 dresses (under 100.00 for both)-100% cotton and you can wear them day to night....you can also recycle denim and other items.....a great little secret on the downtown mall (next to O'Suzannah)

2.  Bittersweet just moved to the downtown Mall.  If you like the Anthropologie/Urban Outfitters thing.....Bittersweet will provide a COOLER and more LOCAL option--Check out the new space!

3. Spring Street on the downtown mall carries LeTarte...one of my favorite brands--super psyched to see this brand in a local store--go check it out

4.  The Mudhouse Ice Coffee is really THE BEST

5.  You no longer have to go downtown to shop at Petit Bebe....check out their NEW online store: http://www.petitbebe.com

6.  Barbara...one of THE BEST hair sylists in town JUST OPENED an eco-friendly salon in the design center...around the corner from Alana's....it is SO pretty.  Book now!

7.  There is a magic serum at Oasis Day Spa......right in the front when you walk in....it WILL change the way your skin looks (ugh can't remember the name--but the girls will know)

8.  Hedge--a local florist (they also do weddings) can arrange a bouquet that will make you smile--even better send one to a friend.

9. and 10.  Lose yourself in the New Dominion Bookshop for summer reading inspiration.  This is important....we need to purchase our books locally--what would we do without the quaint and uber charming bookstores like New Dominion bookshop!
