I thought back about how I met Andrea and realized that it was through

When I saw Charlotte at the Farmer's Market typing out poetry-I asked if she would write a poem for Charley and Andrea.

earth, air, fire, water and space.
but now you see -- that place inside yourself
that knows what can't be said,
like nightfall, when exact shapes
aren't recognizable any more--
or a magician's robe-- all gauze and filament and rapture.
draw yourself a house and fill it with dream,
the driftwood you love and know not why,
mornings spent reading the paper,side by side,
listening for the wind at night.
in each other--that essential element.
And whistle what can't be said.
