Shopping around town today....it dawned on me how drawn I am to the simple basics--the clothing that has lasting power, a home that is built to last, a timeless design, a table that can live through many generations, not just a childhood. It is not the size of a house but the quality of the design.  

In these times of less abundance I find it important to focus on the Quality of 1 item versus the Quantity of Many.
